As a professional in civil engineering, he serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Doxxie Global Solutions Limited, a company engaged in various sectors including general construction, oil and gas, agribusiness, mining, environmental management, GIS and data analysis, project management, and interior design.  

In addition to his engineering and business pursuits, Engr. Katagum has been an active participant in politics, focusing on public policy development that advocates for progress and improved governance in Bauchi State.
